The Police Officers' Wives Association (POWA) Katsina State Chapter, today joined the global community to celebrate International Women's Day.
This year's celebration, aimed to promote women rights and support women's empowerment.
In her remarks, the POWA Katsina Chairperson, Hajiya Maryam AA Musa, emphasized the importance of women's rights and empowerment. "As we celebrate International Women's Day, we recommit ourselves to promoting women's rights and supporting women empowerment in all walks of life," she said.
The event featured a series of activities, including a rally, lectures on personal hygiene, and gift presentations reaffirming POWA's commitment to supporting and empowering women and children.
